Happy Newroz

It's officially Spring in Iraq and the celebrations of Newroz is underway and particularly in Iraq's Kurdistan provinces. Every year on the 21st of March, Iraqis and shared with few countries in the Middle East, celebrate the start of the new Babylonian year. An ancient tradition which has been past on for generations and clearly shows the deeply rooted traditions of a connected Mesopotamian cultures.
