Ghassan Rassam
Ghassan Rassam; Chairman of the Board. Dr. Rassam is a scientist/manager/writer of Iraqi descent. He has a long career as a publisher and CEO of nonprofit organizations in the Washington DC area. He is passionately interested in seeing a healthy, democratic and civil Iraq, and is committed to work on encouraging the youth of Iraq to re-build the foundations of an Iraqi state that respects the laws and the rights of its citizens to decent future. In his words “ The future of the Iraqi state will depend primarily on its citizens. Given the huge number of diaspora Iraqis, and the major concentration of talents among those Iraqis living outside their country of origin, it becomes critical for the future of the country to provide channels and opportunities for those external Iraqis to contribute their know-how and passion to their country of origin. ”
Raad Humadi
Raad Humadi; Close to 20 years of experience planning, implementing, and managing internationally-funded projects in the U.S. and the Middle east, working with international development organizations, NGOs and community partners, local governments, consultants, and construction firms. Team Building and Management, Management in Conflict Environments, public institution capacity building and development; and infrastructure reconstruction for essential services including water, sewerage, waste management, road management, and parks. Collaboration and Partnerships; enhancing project resources by building alliances across international donor organizations; developing strategy with UN, DOS, DOD, and other development leaders; and promoting local ownership with regional and national governments/agencies, and NGOs.
